Almost four hundred voices of Hummingsong Community Choirs are combining with the sensational Bill Risby Jazz Trio and sublime Sydney Grammar String Sextet for one enthralling concert event.

The Spring Sing will offer a multitude of tunes from around the world and feature original arrangements from our own singers and conductors… this concert is certain to stir souls and get feet tapping.

Music from contemporary artists such as Coldplay (“Fix You”), Keane (“Somewhere only we know”) and pop/folk royalty like Paul Simons (“Sounds of silence”), to jazz legends like Dave Brubeck (“Take Five”) as well as wonderful, enigmatic world music means every musical taste is catered for.

Hummingsong Community Choirs, brainchild of Founder and Artistic Director Anna Humberstone, is a network of women’s a cappella choirs based in different locations on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore. The members sing, laugh and grow together, and at performances like this one they raise support and awareness for local women’s refuges – including over $150,000 in donations since 2012.
